We think this book is about a boy who turns into a chicken because he ate a lot of chicken.
This book is really about a boy who's mom died of cancer, and is emotionally shut down because he is so lonely. Then a new kid moves to town and they become good friends, and they raise chickens together for a project.
We think Chicken Boy will be about a boy who acts like a chicken.
Tobin Mccauley's mom had died from cancer five years ago.He belives he can't fit in school, so he tries to nurture chickens to make him feel better.
Finn and I think that this book is about a boy that is very skillful at acting like a chicken. And the reason he's called chicken boy is because he was raised on a farm with his grandparents caring for animals.
After Finn and I read the little blog we found out that are prediction was wrong but very close to what it was actually about. The book "Chicken Boy" is about a boy named Tobin. Tobin gave up fitting into school after his mom died five years ago. Then he finds a friend who teaches him to raise chicken for a class project. Since Tobin learned how to raise chikens it's really boosted up his self esteem.

The book "Chicken Boy" is really about a boy named Tobin who doesn't fit in at school & makes a friend who teaches him how to raise chickens.
We believe Chicken Boy is about a boy who raises chickens and is made fun of at school.
Tobin's mom died 5 years ago of cancer. He has shut down and doesn't even try to fit in at school. A guy named Otis moves into town and becomes his friend and teaches to raise chickens.

"Chicken Boy" is about a boy named Tobin whose mother died five years ago because of cancer. his mom didn't want to see a docter. His grandmother gets arrested because she drove on the school sidewalk. Tobin doesn't fit into school and gives up trying to do the work. Then, he gets into a fight during P.E. and meets a boy named Henry who helped him. He helps Tobin learn how to take care of chickens for a school project. Tobin then decides to get chickens for himself to take care of and developes his own identity.

i think the auther gave the name chiken boy because his mom died so he got a chiken to keep him compeny and the other kids call him chicken boy
so he named the book after his nick name:D
I think the boy will become a chicken raiser. That is one of the main reasons that the topic is Chicken Boy. By calling him Chicken Boy they also state in the story that he moves and learns to raise chickins.
I think the auther(dowell,frances o'roark) titled this book "Chinken Boy" because it is about a boy who has a low self assteam.Intill one day he meets afriend,amd his friend teaches him how to take care of chickens;and he feels some what6 better about his life.I've only read about a paragraph about it,but it seems like a pretty good book,so far.
