Gossamer

Using the words of the title post a comment predicting what you think this book will be about.

Some things you may want to know more about before you start the book:
Foster children
Dreams
Look them up at http://go.grolier.com/

Have you ever wondered where dreams come from? How about nightmares? A dreamgiver in training tells her story. John (a very real foster child), with every reason to have nightmares, becomes Littlest One's greatest triumph. A beautifully written story that will touch your heart. Lowry proves again that she is one of the best.

We believe Gossamer is about a foster child having a dream about having parents.

Gossamer is actually about dream-givers helping a foster child have good dreams but, then the horde of Sinisteeds tries to give the child nightmares.

We believe that boys and girls would enjoy this book.

I think that this book is about a girl that will gossip about someonethat wlll not like what she said, and will do somethig about it, and then they wlll become friends, and that will end all the gossiping in the school and everyone is friends. that is my prekiction of the book called Gossamer.

I think its about kids who eat grass and gossip about each other in grass and lay next to trees.

The kids sneek out at night going around their neighborhood .They go into peoples houses. One of the houses belongs to a very old lady and they might get in trouble.

Prediction: We think that this book is about a boy named Homer that gossips a lot, in fact his gossiping became so frecuent that they nicknamed him Gossamer.

The real story: This story is about things called dream givers. These creatures are things that give dreams. The story's main character is named Littlest, who is a small rookie working with a tired, impatient dreamgiver. She was creeping through a house owned by an old lady and a dog named Toby. Littlest soon recieves a new partner named Thin Elderly, a much better teacher than his last. meanwhile Sinisteeds were turning good dreams into nightmares.

I think the book the Gossamer is asbout a foster child having dreams and making a story about the persons dreams. I think the autor named the story Gossamer because the Gossamer is a monster that makes a foster child have bad dreams.
