Joe just wants a motorbike for his birthday. Earning the money himself by working on his Dad's farm was NOT what he had in mind. Matter of fact he can't wait to go away to college and leave the stupid farm forever. Joe grows up this summer - picking strawberries in the hot sun bent over for hours will do that to you. This one is a real eye opener and will help you understand the current issues facing our country on immigration.

I think this book will be about someone who is chasing their dreams.
We now know that it is about Joe, a fourteen year- old boy who is raising money for a motorbike, on his father's farm with migrant workers.
I think that it is about a boy who is snobby and he thinks that he is better than everyone else and he finds out that everyone is ''under the same sky.''
The book is really about Joe who wants a motorbike and has to earn the money to buy the motorbike by working on his dad's farm. He hates working on his dad's farm.
We think its about a rich kid and aliens.
The book is really about a fourteen year old kid named Joe Pederson who joins the migrant workers in his fathers upstate New York farm, to earn $1000 dollors to buy a thunderbird motorbike. He soon learns to respect the "illegal aliens".

I think the book"Under The Same Sky" is about a boy who is proving to his father that he can keep up with him and that everyone is the same.It doesn't matter if they speak a different languange.
The book "Under The Same Sky" is really about a fourteen-year-old boy working for one thousand dollars to buy a motorcycle and showing his father he can keep up with a sixteen-year-old boy who is the Mexican crew boss.

boy named Joe Pedersen who is spoild . He wants a Thunderbird motor bike so he goes to upstate New York to work with his father to collect $1000 dollars so he can buy the bike himself .While he is there working, he finds himself trying to compete with a immigrant mexican named Manuel.At first ,he treats Manuel differently because he is from Mexico but then he relizes that he works just as hard as Manuel does. It's wrong to dislike someone just because they're from another country. He also learns to respect illegal ailens.
